Hello reader….I’m Tracey Nolte.  I have been in IT for over 20 years, and I’ve been doing web design for 10 years. I currently work at Slalom Consulting as a User Experience/ Information Architect. I enjoy getting paid to do what I love…. information architecture, usability, user experience, graphic design, web design, and web analytics. Previously, I was a web designer for the corporate offices of AT&T, Centex Homes, American Heart Association, McAfee, NTRglobal and worked in IT for many EDS clients such as Continental Airlines, Marathon Oil and Exxon Mobil. As a professional problem solver, I’m skilled in SEO (search engine optimization), PPC (pay per click), banner creation and online advertsing, HTML, CSS, blogging, social networking techniques, online video, Google Analytics, SLA measuring with Excel, Access and SQL, graphic design, XML, Joomla, PHP, mySQL, web forms and many other web applications. I’m all self-taught, due to interest in emerging technology and a good dash of geeky nature.

I’m a big reader and tend to favor a book over the TV. I’m also interested in photography, videography (including shooting, editing and producing), writing, music composition, art, fitness, nutrition and so much more. With such varied interests, I still live my life by the old-fashioned principles of integrity, honesty, follow-through and commitment.
